Jamie's Edit: Mother's Day Edition

Jamie's Edit: Mother's Day Edition

Hi Friends! I cannot believe it is already May! April flew by and May is looking to be another busy month. We are gearing up for the end of the school year (there are so many year-end events we call it: May-cember!) and the start of summer. But before all that end of school year craziness, we get to celebrate Mother's Day! Below is an edit full of Mother’s Day fun. From the things I have my eye on (hint hint Ryan!) to what the other moms in our office are loving and what I am planning on spoiling my mom with. Happy Mother’s Day to all the hardworking and busy moms out there, it sure is a wild ride and you are doing great!

The Easiest and Best Mother’s Day gift:

This is one of the best gifts I have received! My mom gave me a subscription for monthly fresh flowers from Bouqs last year for Mother’s Day and it has been wonderful. I love having fresh flowers in the house, but I rarely get them for myself. Once a month a box arrives with a gorgeous arrangement that brightens up our kitchen and simply makes my day. This is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Perfect gift for any (Champagne Loving) mom in your life from Katie our VP of Sales:

My love for bubbles will never die! Two of my favorite champagnes are Veuve Cliquet Rose and Moet Chandon Rose. I love this adorable gift set, which includes one bottle of your choice of champagne, an acrylic champagne glass or copper champagne flute, a handcrafted tropical scent candle, and champagne gummy bears by Sugarfina. The perfect gift for Mom to unwind and relax this Mother's Day weekend.

For the pickleball-loving mom:

The perfect spring layer, any pickleball enthusiast would love this cheeky pink cotton pickleball sweater. She’ll love the look, and wear it again and again for the flattering fit and cozy soft feel.

Something fun for my mom: (skip this one if you are reading Barrie!)

Sometimes it is tough to come up with new ideas for my mom, so I love it when I come across something she does not already have! I love this statement sun hat from Sarah Bray that features brass circles so you can easily interchange ribbons or even silk scarves that you may already own.  My mom will look so cute at the beach on Lake Michigan this Summer.

Speaking of scarves…

I have been slowly collecting Hermes Scarves for years now and I am super excited to see all the new ways you are styling silk scarves these days. From over the shoulders on our iris dress, to casually tied to a bote tote (thank you for that inspo @prissandvinegar!) or on the above sun hat, I love how a chic scarf can instantly elevate an outfit. I will definitely be reaching for mine this summer and if you are looking for a splurge-worthy gift I LOVE this nautical one:

A little Jewelry never hurts… This was suggested by Katie or VP of sales and I might just add this to my wish list!

These Jane Win coin pendants are the perfect gift! They design coin jewelry and charms with meaning, meant to be layered, gifted, and adored. With so many options, you will find the perfect one!

A fresh look for Mother’s Day Brunch!

Sometimes it is really fun to just treat yourself! I love to shop, so I will be using Mother's Day as the perfect excuse to treat myself to a little something fresh for my closet! These pieces will be perfect for Mother’s Day Brunch with my family. Let this be your permission to get yourself what you love!  Here are my favorite picks for a fresh Mother’s Day outfit: This is my FAVORITE dress, and we happen to make it in my favorite hydrangea print! I have the Fiona Dress in every color that we have made and it is truly the most worn style in my closet. Soft, flattering, cute this is the epitome of looking polished while feeling great!

I think I’ll dress up Fiona with these beauties…

And can’t forget a cute bag…

LOVE this one from Pamela Munson. Pretty sure I’ll wear this on repeat all summer long.
